Diabetes X-plained: A Diabetes Awareness Public Event
Most people diagnosed with Diabetes find out only 'by accident' while being treated for other medical conditions and issues; with very few proactively asking for a diabetes test.  Late diagnosis of Diabetes leaves people at greater risk, developing serious complications such as stroke, heart disease, blindness, kidney disease and amputation.  Diabetes Awareness is critical if we want to encourage good health for our future and that of our children's.  Join us for a public evening hosted by the Johnsonville Lions Club, in conjunction with Diabetes NZ and Healthy Futures Trust
When:  18 July 2018 at 7:00pm
Where: Johnsonville Community Centre
Entry:   A gold coin donation will be appreciated.

Children take part in a fun half day of sporting activity and leave with tailor made sport and talent reports. We are able to recommend the most suitable sports for each child based on their natural attributes. Our aim is to inspire healthy lifestyles and it is our belief if children are good at something they tend to stick with it through their teen years and beyond. We want to help set them on the right path and give them the confidence to try new things.
